I dont undertsnd the connection between God being true and prctical and this. But since you mentioned that, let me ask you something. A women who is married to a man, if she decides to go out with other men also... does that mean her real husband is not true? And if the real husband inspite of knowing the truth, continues to love his wife and call her back into his life? That is the story with my Lord Jesus. He loved the world, the people. He is like a husband to us all. He made us for His pleasure. Now if we like prostitutes chose to go away from Him to other "gods" and other "religions"... what can He do? He still loves us and calls us to come back to Him. But the grace period is not forever. The time when grace is available is limited and we will be happy if we choose to get back to Him now.
